ULVAC Technologies, Inc. (www.ulvac.com) has announced that their sister company, ULVAC TECHNO, Ltd. is offering U.S. and European-based vacuum companies a means of expanding their presence in Japan and East Asia (Korea, China, Taiwan). ULVAC TECHNO is now providing customer support, including maintenance of vacuum equipment, parts and supplies to companies that would like to strengthen their position in Asia.

ULVAC TECHNO has a long history and extensive experience in installing, repairing and maintaining vacuum-based process equipment. Most international companies lack the resources to sell, install, repair and maintain equipment in Japan. By forming a business partnership with ULVAC TECHNO, these companies will have a local team that can manage all the product installations and customer support logistics in order to ensure a successful business in East Asia. ULVAC TECHNO is now actively engaged in business partnerships with U.S. and European-based companies.

ULVAC TECHNO, Ltd. was established in 1979 and is a subsidiary of ULVAC, Inc. The main office is located Cigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The company supports ULVAC TECHNO’s customers with maintenance and parts supply in Japan. ULVAC TECHNO’s customer support business includes vacuum equipment repair, vacuum equipment relocation, installation, vacuum equipment improvement and modifications, parts sales, parts recycling and cleaning, surface treatment and used equipment sales. In order to efficiently provide these services to customers, there are 27 locations in Japan with 330 service engineers available 24 hours a day.
In addition to Japan, the ULVAC Group has 66 offices in 13 countries and regions around the world — focusing on semiconductors, as well as electronic devices, flat panel displays, organic EL displays, solar cells, automobiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and metal industries.
