Overview:

This webinar will provide a comprehensive review of a colorimetric sensing technology used for gas leak detection and safety in semiconductor manufacturing processes. Dr. Jin will begin with an explanation of the measuring principles, emphasizing the mechanisms that enable precise and reliable gas detection. Following this, he will discuss the various gas introduction methods, and the differences between flow-over and flow-through techniques. Additionally, he will introduce the latest chemical cassette, showcasing new chemical formulations specifically designed to detect particular gases while minimizing interference. He will also explain the advantages and disadvantages of colorimetric technology. Finally, he will explore future research directions, examining how this technology can continue to evolve and meet the changing demands of semiconductor manufacturing.

What you’ll learn:

  • Understanding measuring principles of colorimetric gas detectors
  • Exploring gas introduction methods
  • Developing new chem cassette
  • Pros and cons of colorimetric technology
  • Future research directions.
